Put on your tux or your most elegant dress and get ready for the most dazzling night of the year
Blessing of the Fleet Princess Ball
The date of the 2025 Ball is Saturday the 5th of April
The Princess ball started in 1956 as a way to involve the younger females into the festival.
Girls are eligible to be a princess in year 10 at school and live between south of Sussex Inlet and Kioloa
Local businesses are asked to sponsor a princess. This is a flat figure donation. The sponsorship will entitle your business to some complementary tickets to the Ball to see your princess and her partner dance and possibly be crowned the princess of the ball.
The Ball princess is crowned by an independent panel of judges, in which princesses are asked a series of questions. Good knowledge of the local Blessing of the Fleet festival and it’s history is encouraged.
